Head Gasket replacement, Rod/Main Bearings?

Hello, I currently have an early (97) EJ20 engine out with the heads off.
The bottom end moves freely and had no apparent problems when running but @ 60k and being an import, I am wondering if maybe I should go further and strip the bottom end and fit ACL Race bearings?

I see plenty of these cars suffering from a spun bearing and was just wondering if it would make sense to replace, or leave alone?

Be worth it for peace of mind IMO

since its out, do it for peace of mind, not much extra cost involved

As above: they are known for knacking the bottom end after head gasket replacement.

Engine is out, so why not?

Yes and you can bet the upper rod bearing shells will be badly scuffed/bruised.
