reprayed in p1 colour?
say it looked like one from the outside not in the inside. reason being i need am going to repray the car all over practically and well prefer the p1 colour just that the engine bay part and insides won't be the same colour. Would it reduce the price of what the car is worth? |
BTTT

I wouldn't buy it...
to me it implies some botched repair and it would look pretty crappy if it wasn't allover. soz just IMHO :( |
I'd agree with Dizzy, I wouldn't buy a car thats had a colour change, it's gonna make alarm bells ring to potential owners, just my 2p's worth.
|
i would like my wrx silver to be blue mica colour but people will never buy it if i sell. shame, nice colour!
|
I wouldn't go near it...
Just my opinion Joolz |
Wouldnt touch it.

It wouldn't bother me as long as the history checked out and you could give a valid reason for it being changed, ie it's not been through a wall!;) Maybe put a few photo's together now, of the bits you want painting and stick them in a scrap book to show potential buyers? Just a thought
Besides which, if you get a good job done it'll only be the inner wings that won't match, just blast a load of waxoyl round it! Loads of people change the colour of their car, if that's what you want go for it! Bob |
If you look at the inner wings of a P1 or probaly any 99/00 P1 colour car you will probably find it is a darker blue anyway, My San Remo Blue MY00 GT is darker on the inside than it is on the outside and so is my mates and so is one I have seen on pictures.
So Like others have said if you can prove why it is different then there shouldn't be a problem. |
