Police interceptors question
 

In sure we've all seen the tv series of police interceptors. Do the laindon (Essex) base, still drive scoobys and evos? The series are a few years old now.

I see that Steve Tissymere stopped posting when he stopped driving an Impreza.

He still drives an Impreza.

The most recent series has followed Derbyshire Police, who have a couple of scoobs, a couple of Evos and some BMWs

I didnt know that, but he seems to have stopped posting when the series moved from Essex to South Yorkshire.

I spoke with the old Interceptors Inspector, ne said the production co went to Derbyshire Plod and offered them the tricked up Evo's in return for the access for the show.
My lot are moving away from the Scoobies to a deisel Audi S3 and an unmarked Octavia Vrs.
The response cars are now woefully underpowered Astra estates, which are s**t

The Derbyshire series was of much interest to me as I live just outside the centre. I've not noticed any of their Scooby/Evos around as yet..
However, I'm always on the look out for those vehicles before entering "pursuit mode" myself now.. ;)

seen a few around, once saw evo go flying past ilko tesco island at about 2000mph lol

I saw them chasing someone through Wirksworth the other week!

That explains why I always see the old bill when going to Xtreme Scoobies! :D
