1999 Impreza STi Version 6 Type R

Very, very rare Subaru STi Version 6 Type R Coupe

Probably the best Version 6 STi Type R on sale in the UK today

Try and find another, if your lucky you may find a verion 5 but this is the very last model of the classic shape in Type R form produced, they are now becoming equally collectable to the likes of MK1/MK2 two door Escorts, ironically back in Japan they are so rare that some of these are now finding their way back over !

So, best colour I think, immaculate original cool grey, the car was ONLY imported in 2010 so the WHOLE car is original and IMMACULATE, no rotten wheel arches, no collapsed lumber supports or usual stuff related to cars that have spent a fair few years over here !

This model has the VERY SOUGHT AFTER active CENTRE DIFF CONTROL, great fun...it also has intercooler water spray

Electric folding mirrors, air con, electric windows, rear tint glass and lots more

4 BRAND NEW Avon matching tyres fitted less than 800 miles ago ( see photo )

Added extra's are a full stainless exhaust system, an aftermarket recirculating dump valve, boost guage, immaculate 17" gold Speedline alloys, a top of the range remote contol Sony audio system with Multi CD & Cat 1 TOAD security along with two sets of keys and two alarm fobs, this car has everything and more

Now for even more good news, all MOT's since coming into the UK are present along with all import docs and original Japanese service book/manuals, there is also a genuine UK Subaru Type R owners manual.

The car had a cambelt and major service at 58087 miles on 23/09/2010 ( invoice present ), then another oil change on 22/04/2011 by HDC Subaru and then on the 25/04/2011 at 59001 miles the engine was FULLY rebuilt inc crank and another timing belt to the cost of 2650.56 ( invoice present ) by HDC Subaru of Hebden Bridge, Tel; 01422-846868

After being run in accordingly the car then had a further oil and filter change at 64263 on 08/11/2011

So peace of mind should be given to the mechanical side of this car

It drives like new, no rattles, lag, smoke, hesitation etc...all the brakes and steering are perfectly straight and very sure footed

I do beleive this is one of the BEST currently available !

The car is of course FULLY HPi CLEAR on ALL COUNTS !

£6995

I am willing to discuss a P/X

Looks mint mate, best of luck with the sale

On side issue, to what level was the engine rebuilt. Standard or forged? What potential power can it handle. Just for potential buyers etc.

Many thanks, the car is absolutely immaculate.

The engine is stock and the rebuild inc crank, rods, bearings etc...which can be verified wwith a phone call to the company listed above....Id certainly rather buy one that has been done at ANY level than not....

The price advertised is to account for a PX which most people like to do these days....

Of course if somebody is in a cash buying position then there is some good room for negotiation.

:)
