Newbie Looking for a decent Garage in the North East.

Hi All,

I'm new to the Subaru world/ Scoobynet and having read about a high amount of threads with Head Gasket failures, I'm looking for a garage based in the northeast ( close to Middlesbrough, ish) where I can get Head gaskets, cam belts, service and a few other bits done.

I have a 2001 bug eye STI and thinking whilst I have a the chance to get a bit of maintanence done to prevent any future hic-cups.

Thanks in advance,

Paul

Hi fastcar, cheers for the reminder. I have used Jamie before when I had my evo 8 fq300 remapped. A very helpful person. I thought he was more of a mitsubishi guy rather than subaru.

AS Performance is a good garage from what I have been told but I have never been there myself, I take mine to Harvey's recommended garage, DLM Autos in Darlington, it's a two hour round trip but worth it. There's not much that Darren doesn't know about subaru's, and if he doesn't know it's not worth knowing. You can't go wrong with either garage.
