my95 wrx engine with my99 turbo 2000 heads
 

hi all, a few questions that need answering asap,

been informed that i can use the wrx my95 block to replace the my99 turbo 2000 engine i have blown up,

1.this will involved using the my99 heads on the my95 block correct????

2. wat head gasket should i use????

3. wats the max that shud be taken from the heads ie skimming????

4. anything else i shud do at the same time????

Couldn't you buy the correct engine complete ? buy the time you've bought full head set skimming time taken etc. you'd be putting a very old bottom end in your car with the wrx block contact Sheffield Subaru services there is a engine same as yours for sale there from a friends car with less that 90k on the clock complete for £400
