Advice on Bucket Seats

I want to fit some deep bucket seats to my car as I do a lot of track days in it and I want something that I sit right down in. I've been looking at these ones here

http://www.passionauto.co.uk/categor...-bucket-seats/

2 questions;

How difficult will these seats be to fit?

Can you fit them by modifying the original factory seat subframes?

Thanks

If you buy subaru fitment subframes for them then they will bolt straight in!

Or as you mentioned you can modify an old set of subframes to suit.

I would advise against cheap non FIA approved seats.
The are usually as floppy as a soaked newspaper, and as comfortably as sitting on a wooden seat while getting kicked in the nuts by a mad gorilla.

Those are not good things in my opinion.

There's plenty of cheap buckets out there from reputable companies - try looking at Corbeau Forza iirc, they come in at around £175 each. There's also Cobra for cheapish buckets. Easy to fit, four bolts on the existing seats to remove them and you'll need to decide on either base or side mount. It is worth remembering that to pass the new MOT the drivers seat must still adjust front to rear:thumb:
