Tell me about it! We gotta pick the rest of the bits up tomorrow and get the engine in this week, then sweet talk Simon into fitting it in to be mapped, as i REALLY wanna take it fast show :luxhello: We will go regardless as always have the cossie but sooooo wanted to run the Scoob see what she can do :thumb: Good luck with yours too by the way :)

Im just going to put my opinion in about tfs.
They done all my work on my last wagon and it went from 270bhp to 326 in 2 days and at a very good rate

sonic93 07 March 2012 05:50 PM

cheers phil what there rates like they gotta pick my car up to said about 100 quid from borehamwood

Kirstiestar 07 March 2012 05:54 PM

Yeah Stew is spot on :thumb:

Bugger is he? Better get on the phone then, how dare he go Ireland lol

phil1981 07 March 2012 05:57 PM

i say 2 vdays but it was longer as he picked my engine up and returned it then i fitted it myself then got it mapped which took a few weeks but tfs done the work in a day, which involved new clutch doing a parrallel set up change headers and a few other jobs for me and then delivered back to me.
there the only people i have used

CharlySkunkWeed 07 March 2012 06:02 PM

that looks sweeeet mate !

Simon has a long list of Irish scoobys to treat for a few days !

phil1981 07 March 2012 06:08 PM

never had issue with the rates, always been a good price for me.
i think he even done some work which involved some welding a bracket and i would say i wernt even charged what the labour was worth

phil1981 07 March 2012 06:13 PM

Oh on a further note tfs built there own drag monster subaru and i think they finished 2nd overall but not 100% sure, and also done work on Simon (JGM) car

sonic93 07 March 2012 06:23 PM

I heard simon recommended them to me just don't wanna be ripped off. Yea I no how inconsiderate he didn't think about us lol

phil1981 07 March 2012 06:29 PM

well we shouldnt really take anymore of kirsties thread up.
But what do you need doing on yours?
If you have any doubts get some ball park fiqures before work is carried out (Although as with anything it would only be an estimate so wont actually be that price) and ask them to advise you as the work progresses and before do to much work.

If you trust simon to map his car, you must trust his judgement

Kirstiestar 07 March 2012 06:57 PM

Lol i dont mind! Just stressing now cos i need my Scoob mapped :(

phil1981 07 March 2012 07:01 PM

your always stressing instead of enjoying.
at the moment i take this as a good sign you aint selling

JonMc 07 March 2012 07:03 PM

That's tidy, will look the mutts when fitted:thumb:

Kirstiestar 07 March 2012 07:12 PM

Cheers JonMc :)

And Phil, yes i do stress about it a lot but i just wanna drive the damn thing rather than look at it all day ha ha. Fed up of waiting but hopefully engine going in this week, really needed it mapped for the 25th though :/

phil1981 07 March 2012 07:15 PM

well dont give up.
i heard a little rumour he would be at srr on the 22nd march

Kirstiestar 07 March 2012 07:17 PM

Yeah i just hope he can squish me in!

phil1981 07 March 2012 07:20 PM

im sure he could.
even if it was 9pm lol.
thats just at srr, not to say he couldnt map yours on the road before hand, but i suggest you talk to simon.
i just thought i would try and stop you stressing even more.

w3lshboyo 07 March 2012 07:44 PM

that looks sweet :thumb:

Kirstiestar 07 March 2012 10:03 PM

Thankyou :)

Just to clarify, Simons away from the 11th to the 19th, just spoken to him :)
