After looking at 3 older examples I purchased this S14a last August, even though it was declared SORN, had no current MOT and is registered cat D. Don’t let this put you off, I wanted a late model low mileage Touring model and the damage was purely cosmetic. After stripping the front end to make sure everything was straight it was confirmed as having no structure damage so a replacement bonnet, front bumper and headlamp later it passed it’s MOT without any advisories.

I have added a few upgrades during my ownership which are a follows:

Toyosport front mount intercooler kit
Toyosport up rated 52mm alloy radiator
Apexi air filter (sounds excellent and allows the standard dumpvalve to be heard)
Walbro 255 lph uprated fuel pump
Mongoose stainless exhaust (turbo back)
Sports de-cat pipe
Sard boost gauge
Nismo steering wheel
8 ball gearknob
Daiyama coilovers
18 inch alloys with excellent rubber

The car had a full service after it was returned to the road and I have had another couple of oil/filter changes carried out also. It was off the road for 5 years prior to my purchase, I have the HPI report to show all the relevant info, 2 sets of keys/fobs along with receipts for the parts I have bought. It’s drives beautifully and is always warmed up and cooled down properly during every run.

I planned on keeping this car as it’s my second S14a after regretting selling my 1st but I now need 4 doors so it has to go. Looking at a Subaru Impreza as a replacement so if you fancy a part ex/swap deal let me know what you have???
