3 wheel drive

Had me scoob in for osf wheel bearing however they thought they would get the car in the air and run it through the gears to see if they could hear which side it was. He was surprised there was no drive to the near side front. What could cause this? So do i have a 3 wheel drive scoob??

Because you dont have a limited slip front diff. If you had held the off side front wheel the near side one would have then driven/turned.
Hope this helps.

Cheers RDH the guys at the garage couldn,t figure it out so had me worried for a bit..Thankfully the wheel bearing is silent so can fit my new K Sport brake kit.

As above mate, wouldnt fill me with confidence about the garage if they didnt know:(

As steve says, i wouldnt be letting them fit me a brake kit if they didnt understand how a front diff works.

If it was genuinely 3 wheel drive you'd feel it pulling hard to one side under hard acceleration ;)
