lambda sensor problems

hi all ,
im having an on going problem with my rb5 , ive gone through x2 genuine lambda sensors in 1500 miles , the car starts to pulse when im sat at a constant speed and is flat on slight acceleration ? if i unplug the lambda it runs perfect , does anyone have any ideas why my sensors keep going faulty ? i would like to find the problem before i buy another sensor .
cheers guy

When you say BOV what do you mean??

OEM recirc or Aftermarket VTA ??

rob trevor 01 March 2012 11:51 AM

after market , tbh its a cheap one .

Don Clark 01 March 2012 01:12 PM

Would that be recirc or VTA??

If its VTA that could be your problem

rob trevor 01 March 2012 03:03 PM

vta , might put recirc back on .

Fixed !!!! Lambda sensor shot due to massive over fueling issue . Now lambda constantly running rich . Put new lambda on to find maf to be faulty . Causing over fueling and burning the electrode in the lambda .
Happy days
