simtec ecu (using the launch control)

hi there i have a sti type R and am unsure on how to use the launch control (it has a switch for antilag must this be turned on? and why would i use anti lag?) its not something i would really use but its nice to know how things work.
(its az type r's old car) thank you in advance guys

Switch the anti lag/launch control switch on clutch down, first gear full throttle and it will hold the preset revs set on the launch control, clutch up and hold on lol

o forgot, put the dccd in full lock aswell.

thank you jay, will the antilag be the same switch as the launch control?
and will i need to put the dccd back to rear once i have changed up to second?

Wind the dccd back after u have took off, yeh my launch control only works with the antilag on, not sure if it can be mapped in without but once moving just switch it off.
Just remember too many launches are not good for the box and clutch lol

No switch on mine and anti lag does not have to be switched on. LC is set at a desired rpm and boost target for launch. Depressed clutch into first build up revs and it will kick in at the desired revs. :)

Noted! Cheers Chris

I wouldn't do it at all with original running gear.

If you can afford to fix things then go for it otherwise don't bother.
