Gearbox help
 

quick post to ask advice an what is the best oil to put in my wrx bug eye 2001 gearbox ,
an our the bolts to empty an refill easy enough to get too
any advice more than welcome

Its normally a 70w90 oil, the bolt underneath is easy enough, the filling is through the dip stick pipe so would suggest a funnel.

thanks , when you say dip stick , do you mean the gearbox has its own or am i being retarted an you mean the engine dipstick
and i heard i needed 75w90 , but wanted to check on here first
and the joys of owning a 11 year old car means i havent a manual

Sorry, finger trouble lol, yes a 75w90, the dipstick is to the left of the intercooler at the back of the engine.
Try www.opieoils.co.uk for what lubricants you need ;)
