Just got the June copy of Evo through the door.

Not only do they have an STi 7 on their fast fleet now, they've done a before and after test on optimax to see if it meets Shell's claims!

Also in the buyers guide is how to buy a cheap Ferrari :D

Is there anything on the track day project cars? I would be interesyed to know how Barker plans to beat the Fireblade engined rollerskate with a manky old Capri. Big v8 or not.

fiveo

just seen it in there, still reading about optimax though

So they have an STi7 on the fleet now....to complement the Evo7RS.

Oh my gawd.....call for an ambulance now!

mollymos 02 May 2002 01:02 PM

is EVO out in the shops today as well?

NeilS 02 May 2002 04:59 PM

Another good read this month.

I found the small article on p13 interesting. Ralliart UK changing their name to Xtreme Autos and although still dealing with the Evo will now be developing upgrades for the Impreza.

Neil.

I caught that too. Interesting development.

Maybe they can't decide which is the better car ;)

DavidBrown 02 May 2002 06:47 PM

gregh 02 May 2002 07:52 PM

carl 03 May 2002 09:46 AM

David -- I assumed that was your supercharged Exige when I saw it?

chuckster 03 May 2002 09:58 AM

Some nobber named David Brown does alot of boasting in the magazine about being faster than scoobs, shesh u'd think the guy hadn't realised track days are for fun, not for racing! ;) LOL
Only 4 stars mate...not good for round-town driving eh? huehuehuehu
Regards
Chuck

...despite his Exige costing twice as much as a Scoob ;)

Plantie 03 May 2002 10:34 AM

What does it say about the Optimax then???? :D :D :D

I am one of those commoners who have to wait for the shops to get it :(

Thanks :D

carl 03 May 2002 10:35 AM

You lucky Scooby owners. As my name suggests, I have an Evo Extreme from Ralliart Uk, soon to be Xtreme Autos. They have a new STi ther already to start development work on. It does take time. what they tend to do is do the work and then drive the car for quite a long time before offering the work to the public. I don't know exactly what is planned, but expect to see a Motec ECU being used.

One of the big attractions to me of one of their cars is the 3 year manufacturers style warranty. Not bad on a car developing 25% (70 bhp) more power than standard.
