has the stud pattern always been the same on scoobys from my92-my00 and as the recommended offset changed at all?
i ask this cos i am swapping my standard MY00 wheels on my MY00 Turbo 2000 for a set of P1 OZ 17's which are fitted to a Sport, will they be able to be swapped without any probs? cheers, peccy. [Edited by peccy - 5/2/2002 9:47:26 AM] |
ttt - edited cos changed question a bit :o

AFAIK the stud patteren will be fine 5 x100 offset shout be ok too if the sport is AWD i think 40-50 approx, but my main concern would be clearence on your 4 pot calipers, best to put a wheel on the front to check... if they're originally off a p1 they should be fine
Cheers |
you got a point with the clearance of my 4pots, but surely there is only one type of OZ P1 alloy wheel, the only variation being colour and size (17's or 18's)?
|
Peccy,
I would have thought that they will fit no probs, I put some OZ P1 Wheels on my MY99 STi-V no drama there, there is only 1 type of OZ P1 Wheel, and it will fit over your 4 pots because it clears my AP Calipers :) |
... so i take it my MY00 alloys (16inch 6spokes) will fit on a Scooby Sport AWD ok?
cheers, peccy |
Peccy,
I've got P1 alloys on my MY00 - they fit no problem. The 16" MY00 alloys fit fine on a Sport - a mate tried this. Cheers, Ian. |
cheers ian,
btw what tyre size you got on the p1 alloys? the ones i am getting are 205/45/17 which i think ill prefer to 205/40 or 215/40, cos of the higher profile and softer ride? |
Peccy,
Like most I'm on 215/40 17s, there aren't many brands of tyres available in 205/45 17. The ride isn't too bad but you certainly feel pot holes, etc. a lot more than with the standard 16s on. Cheers, Ian. |
