its lowered 40 mm
also has had windows tinted since photos taken

AlanPPP 15 February 2012 05:32 PM

What engine mods has it got for the 300bhp mate?

Asponge25 15 February 2012 05:39 PM

It has been remapped. It has a cone filter which is boxed in. Running on shell optimax.injectors had been upgraded. All this work was done when I bought it.

AlanPPP 15 February 2012 08:46 PM

Still on standard turbo and fuel pump?

Forgive the questions mate but if I don't ask them someone will! especially when it's BHP related :) looks mint BTW

Asponge25 15 February 2012 09:12 PM

Uprated fuel
Pump mate. I keep remembering things that it's had done. It's also has some poly bushes on the front end. Steering rack, roll bar and lower arms.

very nice mate ;) wouldnt mind something like this after my v3 sti ;)
glws

Looks fab. Do you have a dyno printout? If it's on standard turbo then highly unlikely its 300bhp?

As above - stating what everyone else will be thinking!

My 2006 WRX 2.5 is on standard turbo remapped with full 3" exhaust and running 285/342 as an example?

Im just going off what I was told mate. Apparently optimax,a cone filter and equal length manifold and uprated should give a bit more brake horse. But I'm no mechanic.

Difficult to see mate, but pretty sure I can see some Gold Brembo's on the front, which are STI upgrade, and a nice to have circa £450 on the second hand market. Might be more going on under the bonnet than you know as well. Try and have a look at the turbo it might be a TD05 on there and not a TD04.

Looks nice, and just trying to help your sale ;)

Asponge25 16 February 2012 12:12 PM

Yes mate they are brembos off the sti and it's a td04 turbo. Thanks for the advise. Might just redo the ad

Asponge25 17 February 2012 03:05 PM

Hi Asponge25

I dont want to come across in a negative manner but as a man who is constantly scouring ebay, SNet, PH and Autotrader currently while trying to locate a bug........ you need to "sell" your car to potential internet viewers - at the moment it looks like a half attempt (at least you have photos though which is a good start)

A well laid out ad will create the right impression to a potential buyer and mean they are more likely to view and buy. I dont want this to come across wrong but i dont think you are doing yourself any favours at the moment for getting the money you are after.

Plus if things have changed since the original pictures where taken, go and take some new ones. If not it doesnt create a good impression.

Good luck with the sale :)

Cheers mate. Was thinking about redoing the ad cos it's ****e. Cheers for the advice mate. I know where ur coming from
