I'm summing up my options.

...Does anyone know a place other than Subaru where I can buy a brand new new (not reconditioned) short motor for a V7 STi Type UK?

Why do you want a brand new unit?

We can probably rebuild you one with ACL race big end & main bearings, uprated oil pump, new seals & gaskets, all fully guaranteed for less than the price of a standard one?
