cars not been in use for 5 mths just start it up every now and then , so doing bits to it first then mapping it once!:thumb:

does make front look better imo
chris.

baker_boy 10 February 2012 07:09 PM

Yeah they do actually. Where did you get them from? When I eventually get a scoob I'd consider a set and I'm not usually a fan of brows on cars but these are carbon! Ha. I do love a bit of carbon.

Oh wicked cheers chris  well it's going to be this year with any luck. Insurance will be a bit steep but it's now or never. Need to sell my Alfa aswell to help raise funds for the car and insurance. But when I do I'll defo let you know :thumb: btw was your IC a kit or a home made job? I don't mean that In a bad way I mean did you buy all the piping separately then get an IC.

scoobychris300 11 February 2012 08:25 AM

no mate not homemade, bought a hdi intercooler for £50 , first ,then bought a piping kit off e bay £ 135 , other bolts etc got from work
cheers chris .

TonyBurns 11 February 2012 08:43 AM

Get some black mesh to cover/protect it, my type R has that, you cannot tell it has an FMIC fitted :D plus it stops all the stones hitting and damaging the FMIC.

Tony:D

alcazar 11 February 2012 10:48 AM

Who's mapping it for you?

The Rig 11 February 2012 03:58 PM

Looking good bud

one question, why not cut away that whole top part of the bumper you have drilled holes in, would cool better and look better and would still be rigid enough ?

Midlife...... 11 February 2012 04:03 PM

Quite like the holes :) Tight fit in the garage, how do you get in and out, climb through the passenger window :D

Shaun

I'm with Alcazar on this, if your mapper doesnt know Subaru's then dont get it mapped by them, it may well cost you a new engine :(

Tony:)

L.J.F 12 February 2012 09:33 AM

As already said above, make sure the mapper knows how to setup a Subaru otherwise it will cost you a good 3k to put it right! just because he can setup a GT4 really well it dont mean he can do a scooby;)

JonMc 12 February 2012 09:37 AM
