Illuminous fluid leak.
 

Had a bit of a strange thing happen yesterday.

I was out in the snow and i had stopped on a country road and reversed back to look at something.

When i pulled back i noticed a dribble of illuminous yellow fluid on the snow. Not a huge amount but noticeable.

Tried to have a look with a mate there and then but with crap dripping off the car anyway and an undertray we couldnt spot anything.

Looking near the top of the block today all appears dry.

Oil - ok.
Coolant - needs a top up but that looks a dark blue colour anyhow.
Brake fluid - ok.
Power steering - ok
Gearbox level - ok.
Washer fluid - is red.

I did a little research and people have mentioned before about a freeon?? leak which is what i understand links in with the aircon. I havent tried this today yet but shall.

I've read online that this can come from the exhaust but i'm not sure.

After driving the car home yesterday I checked where i pulled in and there was no visible trail.

Just wondering if anyone else had had a similar experience. I dont know if its weather provoked as the only time ive seen this mentioned is people in the snow although it could just be as it stands out like a sore thumb:thumb:

Is there anything else I can check. Someone said diff levels but i have no ramps and dont fancy laying in the sludge to check. Plus i dont know where and what i am looking for.

Any advice appreciated and hopefully I've included enough info.

Sounds like an a/c leak and has leak detection dye in the system

Get some incontinence pants!

as said, could be from your a/c. Has your car ever had to be re-gased? If so they sometimes use a u.v dye to detect leaks which is bright green/yellow in colour. if you have a uv light then have a quick snoop around with that
