Due to the influx of imprezas i have noticed recently in Biggleswade and by popular demand in "was it you" I think we ought to meet up and introduce ourselves.

I suggest perhaps next weekend, either 11th or 12th of May at some country pub (lets face it there's millions).

I have mailed the following people with an invite as suggested on the "was it you" thread.

nick.bg
jjones
nick.cogan
steve.green

anybody welcome though.

Just need to pick the venue.

Cheers

Paul.

Steve Green 01 May 2002 04:10 PM

Let me know where and when.

As long as I am around, I will try and get there.

Coogie 01 May 2002 07:53 PM

Same goes for me!

I'd like to make it if I'm around.

(Out for the day on Sat, but evening or Sunday would be OK)

Nick.

Sunday sounds good, anyone wanna choose a place?

Cheers

Paul.

NICKBG 01 May 2002 11:03 PM

thats ok for me too guys - probably have family in tow too - where do people want to go ? somewhere 4 the kids to play would be even better .... but if not then not to worry

Nick

paulwadams_my99 01 May 2002 11:32 PM

No problems with bringing the kids as far as im concerned. Theres a pub on the way to shefford (from Biggs) with a big garden and plenty for the kids to do. Cant remeber the name of it now. Its quite close to the college near caldecote i think. Do u know where i mean? I'll get the name tomorrow. I think the road is the a6001 to shefford.

Cheers

Paul.

WRBlue 01 May 2002 11:39 PM

Paul,

Why has your jjones not responded? I could substitute if he stays silent.

JJ (jjones)

paulwadams_my99 01 May 2002 11:47 PM

LOL,

I hope thats not me screwing up and you are another JJ? Anyway, if so u dont need to substitute, everyones welcome! Just thought it would be nice to recognise who we are waving at when we drive by.

Please come if you can make it and any others u know in the area. They do a bbq in the garden too if i remember. Just hope the weathers up to it :D.

Paul.

P.S. No more duplicate names allowed though ;)

Steve Green 02 May 2002 08:22 AM

11th and the 12th may be difficult for me, depends on the time.

Stag night on Saturady and alot of planning before hand.
League Match on Sunday moring, so afternoon would be more likely.

I will keep an eye on the thread to see if I am going to able to make it, it would be good to meet some scooby owners in my home town.

Hopefully see you all soon
Steve

NICKBG 02 May 2002 10:52 AM

Hi all,

Paul, do you mean the Fox and Duck ? the one that has got the big climbing frame in the garden ?

yes - i too hope the weather is good.... I also hope that the wife doesn't go into labour !

Nick

paulwadams_my99 02 May 2002 10:55 AM

Hmm i had a look this morning and its called the Green Man but it does have a climbing frame etc.

I am happy to do it anytime sunday but I have to do house stuff at 3 :(, We could put it further back if people want then we can make sure we got nothing else on. What do u think? It may be better.

Regards

Paul.

jamesjones(work) 02 May 2002 10:59 AM

I'm still here!

Off on holiday 7th, back 14th, so won't be able to attend.

I have fairly busy weekends so will have trouble attending anyway (just an excuse to say I'm under the thumb), but will see what I can do. I would prefer a weekday lunchtime if people don't work in to far flung places. Myself and Nick BG work in Stevenage. Where do the rest of you work?

J

NICKBG 02 May 2002 10:59 AM

Paul - I don't really mind - weather for sunday 12 degrees, 10% chance of rain, and cloudy. We could do a quick meet if you like or we can move to later in the month....

What does everyone else think ?

Nick

Steve Green 02 May 2002 11:01 AM

Green Man huh?

I know the one.

18th Birthday bash spings to mind, was a good laugh.

I will try my hardest to make it, if I am still over the limit from my Stag do..I won't be driving though, may be able to talk my brother into driving me scoob there though (Shouldn't be too hard actually, he would jump at the chance to drive it over his Sierra)

This is still all dependant on the date of course, 19th of May to the 4th of June is deffinatley out for me mind....Wedding and Honeymoon Etc.

Hi Guys

If I'm free I will come only live 4 miles from Biggleswade so keep posted.

Gazzer

Steve Green 02 May 2002 01:53 PM

Hmmm,

Next weekend?

Sunday is cool I think, will have to check. Mind you, not leaving me much time to clean the old beast is it?

Will post again as soon as I know what I am up to this weekend coming. I know I have to go and make final arrangements for the wedding on Saturday. (My God....thats even less time to clean it)

Oh well,
Will post again soon.

Steve
