You need to check the fault codes. Do a search and there will be a post on here about doinhg it on your car, once you have the codes post them up. From my reading on here I think it will be the MAF sensor (don't quote me). Do a search on here for that aswell as it well tell you how to test the MAF sensor. Just to help you the MAF sensor is between the airbox and the pipe running under the inlet manifold to the turbo. I have a newage which is slightly different to the classic so not 100% sure of the methods to use.
