P1 bumper and a Porsche Boxster engine???? :cuckoo: When I saw that I was expecting the advert to be a p!ss take but it seems he's genuine :cuckoo:

I had to message him thanking him for making me laugh so hard.

On another note...
I also messaged this seller....-

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/vie...id=84451789521

Explaining that his car was not an RA and informed him what it actually was.
Here is the reply I got -

Paul Bruce Cars
39 Western Park Rd
Leicester
Leicestershire
LE3 6HQ
United Kingdom
+44.(0)777.8464023
+44.(0)116.2259085

---------------------------------------------------------
Just trying to big the car up - plenty of non Subaru people out there....
I had the owner of the RA owners club out to see it, who confirmed it is the proper 555, but is actually
a Carlos Sainz car - due to the year.
I put the Mcrae and Greist on the windows to make it stand out. This is my 3rd 555 - as I import them direct from japan.
You are right for code the chassis plate.
Cheers, Paul

I've had a reply from the guy selling the 'Porsche engine' Impreza sport.

I merely messaged him thanking him for a great laugh, his reply was ....

I think I am correct on thinking the bottom end is flat 4,

It is a Porsche engine, Porsche are the only people that manufacturing flat 4's

My brother mentioned this morning, it's the Porsche bottom end??? and many many people have tolled me the same,

So I can sit here and laugh at your silly comment!

And on a similar note , £2.5k for a sport. I mean it looks fine and all that, but no way are the sports worth that. I should know I have one :lol1:

tubbytommy 30 January 2012 04:05 PM

arent all boxsters a flat six??
and didnt vw put a flat 4 in a beetle???

Paulo P 30 January 2012 04:09 PM

He's edited it and now there's no mention of a Porsche engine :lol1:

CREWJ 30 January 2012 04:16 PM

Fair play it's really clean but that's still not a P1 bumper.

Also if he can get £2600 maybe I can!
