Depends what you want to achieve, the list of parts are endless and can cost you a lot of money, so if you give an idea what kind of power you are looking for then you will heve better answers.:thumb:

And YES with your decated exhaust you already due a remap,

If he only has a decat exhaust,then there is no need for a remap imho :Suspiciou,as it will allow the exhaust gases to exit quicker and make the car more responsive :norty:. I ran a full decat on my 99 car for 6 months,before fitting a bigger turbo & then having it mapped.Most classic imprezas are normally fine with an exhaust change,where as a newage car can tend to throw up a cel when going full decat.:thumb:

I ran an MY98 uk turbo with a full decat for three years without any issues.............:D

An ESL board and remap is only £500

So with the decat, uprated air filter and a Walbro fuel pump you could be seeing 260-280bhp

You could get a boost controller but a remap would be safer.

As above, but, if it's a 98 car, I assume that, before ANY extra power mods, you have had the brakes done? The stock two pots on those cars were disgraceful and should never have been fitted to a performance car:mad:

Then get suspension modded and geometry PROPERLY* done, the car WILL be quicker in twisties;)

* NOT at a local garage/tyre place ;)
