Replacing a 2 port boost solenoid with a 3 port boost solenoid

Hi all first post here and first Subaru,

I have a Subaru Forester 2.0XT and I had it mapped. It would only boost up to 0.8bar so I have bought a 3 port boost solenoid of a classic.
My question is can I just fit this then get it remapped or does it need to be done at the same time as the mapping?

What size vacuum tubing do I need?

Thanks for your help
Dave

Hi Dave

I would suggest you get your mapper to do it at the time of re map as it will mess about with the map you have already, 4mm silicone pipe is needed fella.

Hope this helps
