'View my posts' option?

On SIDC they have a short cut option to view the posts that you have made, could we have something like that to see if the threads we comment on have been updated please? (Instead of having to do it via advanced search)

You mean like automatic thread subscriptions? This shows all of the threads you reply to in your user CP. Most recently replied are shown first, with a link on the bottom right allowing you to see all the threads you have replied on in chronological order.

I see its not enabled on your account. Worth a try. I've had it enabled since 2004! Unfortunately it only works from the point you activate it, so previous threads you replied to probably won't show, but everything from this point onwards will.

How to enable:

User CP--->Edit Option---->Scroll to 'Messaging & Notification' under the heading 'Default Thread Subscription Mode'

If you don't want notification emails set it to "No email notification"
If you want emails select one of the other three options (instant, daily or weekly)

Then scroll to the very bottom of the page and click "save changes"

I think Flaps means like a fish forum I use, where at the top of the page there`s a "view your posts" option without going into anything else.

Although on here it`s only 3 clicks to get there anyway....some people are just sooooo lazy :lol1:

Like this: https://www.scoobynet.com/search.php...nduser&u=63718

(in the drop down box when you click on a user's name)

:wonder:

:p

I often browse SN on my iPhone, bringing up the search option and going down that route is often fiddly, a simple 'one click' option would be nicer :thumb:

Thanks for that but again, it's not much shorter than using the search route.

I've just bookmarked that, i'll load that up each time instead of going to the main screen and see if that works on a regular basis.

 Once enabled its just one click (User CP), then you see a list of your most recent contributed threads.

You have to bookmark the exact address I posted in the above link. Not the address of results page.

Look at the address bar, the addresses will be different. The address that works will say 'do=finduser' the one that doesn't work will say 'searchID='.
