Thanks Ollie |
Well, the recommended are the Walbro 255 or the HRC equivalent.
|
On thanks.. But will this new pump I have do untill I get a Walbro 255 or is it no better than the original one I have??
|
Sorry, I cant help you on that, Unisia JECS brings up a load of jap comapny info on google but thats it.
|
Ok thank you.. Yea that's the problem I had.. Googled it but so much info came up and didn't give me the anwer I needed lol

Walbro 255 is the ubiquitous choice. It's its VFM which is the reason. ;)
But there was a thread on here which showed a graph of, when at higher fuel demand, the voltages tailed off alarmingly i.e. just when you don't need it too! If it's to be believed, then that's not good i.e. a potential for melted pistons/big end failure through det. The HRC's graph, by comparison, didn't tail off no where near as bad. That said, I have a Walbo 255 on my 384bhp STi5... and also had it on my previous MY93 WRX running 282bhp. I had no issues, running-wise. |
Disagree here, don't bother with a Walbro. Get a decent one. Pays dividens in the long run
