7 seconds.

Who saw Tiff break the world record for a 0-60 in a twin ZX12 engined tiger last night.I think he said 560 kgs,408 bhp:eek:
0-60 2.906 seconds:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D Then he let a rod go through the block;( Darren |
No sorry mate,on our program called 5th gear on ITV
Darren |
It was repeated tonight and may be again-ch5 though.
...calling CraigH, calling CraigH..... ;):):D
Quite heavy that Tiger for 400hp innit ;)
I saw it! :)
Tiff needed a rev limiter though, he admitted he just kept his foot down, wasn't watching the revs. On the second run one of the engines blew. :( Mental idea though, two rev counters and two gear levers which you can change together or speratly  ;) Lee |
I think the speratly change probably caused the problem ;)
Serious piece of kit though :D |

mmmm, tasty.... The car is available as a kit for £15,250 plus VAT, or complete and ready to drive for £29,995 inc. VAT. More details are here. |
Get onto the west field form some nice chap has posted the mpg :) its mad, NOW YOU SEE IT, NOW YOU DONT, ha ha h atiff blew up the engin on his second attempt though ;)
I thought the Blitz skyline held the world record at under 2 secs for a fully road legal car ????
This is a production car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not as yet its not they havent sold enough of em
The car I am refering too had around 1350 bhp and did the quarter mile in around 7 secs
Stil prefer an RS200 at 3.2 secs though:D:D:D
Darren |
RS200 evo mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I'll keep 5.5 secs if I don't put a rod through the block on every second attempt, thanks! Chocolate pistons better than chocolate block any day!
I sat glued to the telly watching that and found it amazing that my bike whcih is a standard production bike and now 3.5years old does 0-60mph in less than 2.5seconds...
Cars are so slow... |
That Tiger is now 4WD (one engine drives the front wheels, the other drives the rear). I didn't see the program, but apparently the donuts were done by slipping the 'front' engine into neutral
carl, I thought the same. The inner front wheel was absolutely motionless, no drive whatsoever. Would have been damn fine donut if 4WD was engaged, but there's no way that the front wheels were being driven IMHO.
phat!!!
Actually, he did have a rev limiter, you could hear him bounce both engines off their limiters on the first run, no wonder one went pop.
Should've used Hayabusa motors instead of those crappy Kwak things j/k |
Yea and we all know the build quality of Suzuki...http://www.smilies.nl/yellows/lechz.gif
