Yeah i thought that for a long time until recently the impreza itch started again so i need to scratch the itch ;)

The thing i liked about owning the clio was not needing to plan journeys around the next super unleaded garage (i owned an import before) - although mine is run on super if you get caught short you can always use normal RON petrol to get you out of trouble.

Fantom 25 January 2012 01:43 PM

Just agreed to buy a bargain 172 :)
Going to use for a track car

Martyn19 25 January 2012 02:48 PM

Might just be my impreza pete but I find the steering a bit light and lifeless. I always run mine on vpower, sitting at 35mpg just now lol. Is a tad annoying it doesn't have a turbo like the scoob but there still quick for what they are.

Should make a decent track car fantom, is it a phase 1 or 2?

Mog 25 January 2012 10:43 PM

very nice, just got a matt red Raider and luving the handling

Fantom 26 January 2012 01:19 PM

It's a phase 2, 2003. I have owned two in the past and loved them to bits.

Martyn19 26 January 2012 04:36 PM

Yeah this is my second 182. Ordered brembo discs and pads all round today.

Will get them fitted this weekend along with a new ball joint if i dont get the impreza back
