what turbo do i have
hi bought a 55plate sti ppp what turbo is fitted to it and what bhp and torque will it handle before i have to change to a bigger one cheers

I think it's a vf35, I have the same model and it's been mapped by Andy F to 355bhp. Don't think they will do much more than that.

If it's a PPP then I guess it's a UK so will have an IHI VF35 IIRC

it will be andy i would use and thanks for the info guys looking for 400bhp had 351bhp 353ft/lb torque on my blob wrx

400 is a no-no for the VF35 unless you start adding methanol (a lot of methanol).
At the boost / flow required for 400 BHP the VF35 will be heating the air rather than compressing it efficiently. Shaun |
I think Andy does a billet 20g that won't be far off the four hundred mark.

SC40 is a rebadged Blousch which is meant to be good as it the Alan Jeffrey 400 BHP jobby, who's name defeats me.
