Incar Fag Lighter Turns Side Lights On?
 

Swapped my centre console from a Bugeye to a Hawkeye afew months back. All works fine. As I thought!

Tried my satnav in it the other day and it works when you plug it in but the side lights come on. When you turn the side lights on theres no power to the 12v socket. :wonder:

Had my multimeter on it. Unplugged it, getting voltage from the connector from the car and from the 12v fag socket.

My other one all worked ok. :freak3:

Any ideas people!

Not messed with any wires or out.

Is the Hawkeye not can-bus?

Poor earth somewhere?

Don't know what you mean by can-bus mate!
