1998 WRX import in 230 white

1998 Subaru Impreza Wrx Import.

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ramaedited.jpg

I am selling my Wrx after 16 months of ownership, this is not my only Impreza. We originally bought the car for the misses to use but after 3 months she couldn’t afford the fuel the way she drove:lol1:. Since then I have used the car as a daily commute car and the odd spin around South Wales. The car has never missed a beat starting first time every time. The car has given me almost cost free motoring just requiring new disks and pads last summer along with a clutch. It received two advisories on the last mot for worn bush on anti roll bar, these have been replaced for oe parts. The oil is changed religiously every 10000 km with oe filter and the timing belt will be changed before sale for piece of mind. It also benefits from and STi panel filter and a custom stainless steel exhaust from Powerflow in Cardiff. If desired the importer can be contacted and would be delighted to discuss with you the condition of the car when it arrived in the UK and is now in a far better condition. It has received two full details, one paint correction and one M/C polish. This can be seen in the condition of the paint on the car, receiving regular Autoglym HD wax coats to keep that water beading.

The Car.

All other fluids in the car were changed in September 2011 before the winter, gearbox oil, diff, coolant, brake fluid and clutch.

Only bad point being a slight piston slap from cold that clears when the engine is up to temperature.

The car is allowed to come up to temp everyday before driving and then is allowed to cool sufficiently.

The photos show the car without side skirts as they are being painted, they had stone chips on them and let the rest of the paint work down. I decided to paint them before the sale as I am awfully fussy.

If you require any further info on the car I will be happy to answer any questions on a PM or on 07725235582, my name is Dylan Jones.

Price £2750 ovno

Come on guys, I'd have it in a heartbeat if the mrs would Sell her Clio Cup!

mervil 25 January 2012 12:20 PM

This also took me to pick my Type R up nr Brighton and was a 420mile round trip! Will easily manage over 300miles on a full tank if required ;)

Thanks Merv. It'll sit as is for a while before I brake it.

I'd consider a swap for a pocket rocket if anyone has one.

The car isn't quite as clean as it was when you last saw it! After 170 miles of snow and gritted roads it's completely filthy :lol1:

Nice to meet you and I think Cliff's happy :thumb:

Over the moon with the car and it's an absolute pleasure dealing with someone who accurately descibes a car.
I've seen so many poor cars recently that were apparently "mint" and just did not get near that level!!!!

Thank you Dylan, a proper top man :D
