Why do you want to know?

stanspeedautocare 08 January 2012 01:36 PM

i have a 2002 wrx jdm , and am going to fit a td05 , and want to know if i fit the td05 and sti pinks and stiu ecu woud it be ok or woud i need a remap anyway

stanspeedautocare 08 January 2012 02:01 PM

or could i just fit the td05 on my jdm

daz1968 08 January 2012 02:24 PM

Best bet is to fit the td05 and sti pinks and just get a remap, sti ecu wont be suitable, as it's an import may be mapped for uk fuel so ecu might be licensed already so a cheapish fix, if not go open ecu

As above really, Fit turbo, injectors and map it, The ECU might be able to be used as the JDM WRX also has AVCS like the sti so the ECU must have the featues built in, But the problem is that any Newage scooby ECU will have the OEM map for a VF30 or VF35 not a TD series of turbos so it would need mapping anyway
