Whiteline - Quality?
I have read that Whiteline parts corrode badly after they've been on the car for a while.
Is this what I can expect to see, at the end of the winter? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMP...item45fff2566c  Is this typical or just a bad example? |
Paint is very soft, mine was chipping when I was fitting it.
|
I`ve seen a ARB look like that after about 2/3 years, Regarding the seller, Top bloke runs Adgespeed in manchester
|
Apparently it's got better, but my rose jointed front droplinks rotted through in 18 months:(
|
Mine have been on 3 years now and were 2nd hand, Still look good very small bit of paint flaking but i try and get the jet wash under the car so that must help
|
When I fitted front and rear Whiteline ARBs I wa suprised how quickly they rusted.
Cosmetically - yeh rubbish, however they do what they say on the tin. |
From what I've seen they've really worked on their powder coating and treatment over the last couple of years. Though I haven't had a set on highly salted roads so I can't personally attest to their current long term durability. If you are personally experiencing bad rust issues, I'd suggest contacting Whiteline directly and see what they can do for you.
