Craig,

need to discuss prices and components.

I think I want:

* The defi centre console
* Oil Pressure
* Oil Temp
* Exhaust Gas Temp
* 60mm boost gauge (comes with control unit I think)

Speak to you soon

Ian.

CraigH 28 March 2001 11:39 PM

Ian,

I've lost your mobile number - give me a call if you can.

I need some more numbers to make these prices - if anyone is interested at all, please get in touch. As those who have found out already, these prices are VERY VERY good.

Ian ive gone for the same as you http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

The Gauges can be seen here

igratton 29 March 2001 08:56 PM

Nice on harj.

For those of you who have never seen defi stuff before I suggest you take a long hard look. These are by far the highest quality analogue units I have ever seen.

Here are some examples

It just doesn't get better than this.

They're CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP.

And they're good.

They look great.

And you'll LOVE the startup sequence http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

WALKER 30 March 2001 04:32 AM

To anybody thats thinking about buying some gauges, these are definateley the ones to go for.

I had the Defi 60mm boost gauge fitted last Saturday and can safeley say that it is the absolute dogs b******s..... and i paid over twice the price! DOH!!!!!

wacko 30 March 2001 10:24 AM

What's better 52mm or 60mm ????
No smutty size jokes please.

igratton 30 March 2001 12:57 PM

60mm will be very difficult to house in a centre binicle. I am only getting a 60mm boost gauge as I intend to mount on the drivers a-pilar. I am still considering a std 52mm boost gauge as there are few companies that offer anything nice to mount them in....unless of course...I'm wrong.

CraigH 30 March 2001 03:18 PM

Ian,

You're wrong http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

The Defi pod is for 60mm only.

Hope that's right or I'll look more stoopid than normal. Which is pretty stoopid http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Cheers

PeteT 05 April 2001 09:36 PM

These look like they might be out of my price range, but could you email me the prices please.
Anyone got a pic of them mounted in a Scoob?
