Are you using the same key that the ecu comes from?

bit of an update on this,

cant get any joy with getting a spark on the original loom, also the pump doesnt prime up either,
so bought another loom as the original we stripped all the unwanted wires out of the loom! so was unsure if we might have cut somthing we shouldnt. and still exactly the same, no pump prime and no spark, also immobilizer light on dash is illuminated!

Now..

i have a breaking turbo 2000 of the same year as the sport, so we took the engine loom out and plugged it into the 2.5 engine and turned the key, immobilizer light goes out, pump primes and we have spark???????
but cant run a turbo loom as the maf connections are different?

now why the hell would a turbo loom work with a sport ecu/immobilizer? and prime and spark??

getting pissed off now lol as the rally is on the 11th feb so running out of time, in 2 minds to buy a mappable ignition and fook the original stuff off! grrrr

any ideas oh subaru guru's amongst us?/??
