HRC fuel pumps

Anyone got any experience of these pumps? Thinking of a 290lph instead of a Walbro.....:D

M2RTXhawkeye 03 January 2012 03:33 PM

I went for a HRC 255 instead of walbro. 2 year warranty and so far so good.

Cheers mate! What sort of power are you running with the 255? I am looking at around 320, if the 255 is enough might save a fiver! ;)

M2RTXhawkeye 03 January 2012 04:10 PM

Had it mapped last month mate by Andrew Carr. He said 275/280. Think you need the 290 mate for the power your looking at not 100% sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. £52 for the HRC 255 with 2 year warranty over the walbro which you get 1 year warranty swung it for me mate

Bristol98 03 January 2012 04:13 PM

Yeah, they deffo look good value! Cheers! :D

Matt2732 03 January 2012 04:30 PM

Got a 255 on my bugeye, great price and good quality too. Currently making 315 ponies. The ebay site for these says the 255 is good for up too 500, I can't comment on that but you should be fine for 320 with one.

M2RTXhawkeye 03 January 2012 05:12 PM

Happy days mate so you'll save a bit of money going for the 255 then

Bob99 03 January 2012 05:31 PM

I have a 255 fitted and currently running 386 bhp with no problems

Bristol98 03 January 2012 05:39 PM

Sweet! Cheers guys, 255 it is then! :D:D

Cammy5106 09 January 2012 02:55 PM

I use the HRC 255 from scoobyworx great pump I replaced my walbro with it and you get 2 year warranty unlike walbro 1 year I am running just over 300bhp on mine

zayd 09 January 2012 03:03 PM

I had the 255lph HRC pump fitted in my 05 STi as part of my upgrade and remap. My cars on 336/ 340 and no problems thus far.

I too bought mine from Scoobyworx, good price and safe delivery.

MattyB1983 09 January 2012 03:20 PM

Which one would people recommend for my car..
Running somewhere between 400 and 450.

Curretly got a walbro 255 in an not had any issues but it's getting old so want to change it to be safe.

Cammy5106 09 January 2012 04:30 PM
