odd tyres
hi there ive recently bought a scooby and it has 2 different types of tyre on it, there both bridgestone but one is a slick ish pattern po70 or something and the front are normal looking car tyres.
will this cause a problem with diffs? i know on 4x4s like freelanders they have to have matching tyres all round. isit okay to run non matching tyres front to back? |
as long as the rim size and profile are the same it will be ok,.

Mighgt cause problems with grip?
If it were mine, I'd see which I liked best and fit a pair on whichever axle hasn't got them now. |
as above the re070 track/fastroad orientated tyre standard on some model scoobs they can be hard to get and more expensive so a normal bridgestone (re050 etc) may have been used as a replacement , they will be ok to run with each other but grip /handling may be an issue , i would advise a matching pair tbh
