odd tyres

hi there ive recently bought a scooby and it has 2 different types of tyre on it, there both bridgestone but one is a slick ish pattern po70 or something and the front are normal looking car tyres.

will this cause a problem with diffs? i know on 4x4s like freelanders they have to have matching tyres all round.

isit okay to run non matching tyres front to back?

as long as the rim size and profile are the same it will be ok,.

Mighgt cause problems with grip?

If it were mine, I'd see which I liked best and fit a pair on whichever axle hasn't got them now.

as above the re070 track/fastroad orientated tyre standard on some model scoobs they can be hard to get and more expensive so a normal bridgestone (re050 etc) may have been used as a replacement , they will be ok to run with each other but grip /handling may be an issue , i would advise a matching pair tbh
