Hope some one can help me here, I stopped on my way home tonight to get a paper and when I got back in the car I noticed the ABS warning light was on. I stopped at the next layby and stopped the engine, I opened the bonnet and I could hear the ABS unit wirring away, I disconnected the battery and it stopped.

I then reconnected the battery and it started wirring again and the engine wasn't running. What the hells going on ???

I've just been out and bled the brakes all round incase of an airlock somewhere but it's still the same, I've disconnected the battery for the moment so it doesn't flatten my battery. I've also had the brakes & discs off to check the ABS sensors are not dirty and it's still the same..

I know that if the ABS light comes on the ABS controller has found a fault with ABS system and the ABS function is halted but normal braking is maintained.

I'd rather have my ABS back.

Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!

O.M.
