do i need 10x smartphone clear screen protector?

just looking at ebay for a clear screen protector for my android fone. some of them are selling 10x for a little more than 1x. do i really need 10x clear screen protector? how often do they break down? tear? come off? etc?

what phone do you have? I haven't bothered with a screen protector on my S2 and its fine. Gorilla glass ftw.

I swap them every so often as they do get scratched (anyone would think I was carrying knifes in my pocket or something), so just buy 10. They are usually a couple of pounds at most.

I have had phones where I used a screen protector every month as it just depends on what grief they get or the quality of the screen protector.

I have had crap screen protectors which last less than a week and good ones which last the life of the phone, I've currently got a "professional" anti glare one on my iPhone which is superb and cost me about £4 from a little independent phone shop for front and rear protectors

was going to say that not the easiest things to apply at times so probably better buying a few of them especially at that price.have had some very cheap ones that have been great.Got my son an s2 for Xmas so will be putting a protector on his one soon.

When the product costs a fraction of the postage its a bit of a no brainer to buy in bulk!

As said, they can be a bit of an arse to fit and if youve got 10 and it doesnt go on right, just spunk it off and try again with a freshy!

I keep my phone in the same pocket as my keys and they only last a month or so before a replacement is needed! Underneath a silicone case and a screen protector my phones like new ..... not bad considering the ****e i throw at it!
