Universal DVD System

Hi,

Have a trip planed from London to Scotland in 2 weeks, was thinking of buying the Universal DVD system from BMW for £300..to keep the 3 kids in the back occupied for the journey..

Any thoughts on this?

Why something so expensive? They get abused, so we bought this: http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.212-1605.aspx (not exactly that, but similiar). It even plays DivX so you can put 5 movies on each DVD.

sounds better...is the car mount any good? secure? does it work the same way as the BMW one?

i like the usb stick option..

The ones that I have just wrap around the headrest and are secure. With the advantage that you can take them out of the car when not used.
