Just wondering how you are getting on with thr monoflex? I cant decide between these and KW v3, the cost of the kw is puttin me of a bit?

How long do the teins last?

I have been reading this with interest

I have the monoflex on my classic which is a hillclimb/sprint car. The problem i am experiencing is that the car is too stiff, there is no movement at all in the suspension. Had a chap stand on the strut tops at the weekend and bounce on the car with only mm movement. Changing the damper setting from hard to soft makes little noticable difference.

Interested to know anyones experience of this suspension. I purchased because of the 'entry level motorsport' but you need compliance and adjustment for motorsport and so far i can get neither

any thought/comments gratefully received

cheers za

Jura

I have an EDFC unit sitting in the car doing nothing, since one of the rear monoflex struts disintigrated i fitted HKS hipermax sport.....what a mistake the springs are 12kg/mm and 10kg/mm front and rear compared to the Teins 7 and 5........threw the car all over the place and made braking a lottery! I've now created a hybrid of the HKS dampers with 8 and 6 kg springs..the car is a track machine so these work fine.

Anyway the EDFC comprises a small control module, cables( probably the heaviest bit) and 4 small motors, can't weigh even 2kg total.
Can't remember what it cost new but can soon look it up, if i get it all stripped out would be pleased to sell for say 40% of purchase price, plus postage...still have instructions too.

Bigarf.

do you got the Tein Flex or Tein Mono Flex. It's a difference between them.

One is the price. The Flex is about £1200 and the Mono Flex is about £1600.

Monoflex.

okey. I'm trying to decide witch coilovers to get. Flex or Mono Flex. Maybe even AST Sportline. I've also looked at the KW V3 and Clubsport. One thing i don't like about the AST's and KW's is that there dosen't have independent adjustments for ride-height and spring pre-load settings like the Teins.

I got Super Street's now and want a good upgrade. I'm upgrading the whole chassis
for this season. The car isn't a daily driver. It's a weekend/fun
times car that hit the tracks a few times a year.

All this is new for this season:
