Yes it is a carbon one mate, got it from scooby bits, was tempted to paint it but then realised that would be stupid!!!

initialD 08 December 2011 04:54 PM

painting carbon fibre is sacriledge !!

If that's what they are, I just think the matt/satin finish classes with everything else being so clear and bright - maybe need to be a glossy finish:wonder:

bruce1986 09 December 2011 05:05 PM

im from kettering and see this about most days and it looks mint and certainly stands out, gives me a touch of the green eyed monster when i have to drive past in my 2o6 while my scoob is off the road in bits, looks good m8

M444GY 09 December 2011 05:10 PM

paulwrxboro 09 December 2011 09:17 PM

not many cars look good in this but yours does

mslorach 09 December 2011 09:49 PM

That is very nice mate! There's been a couple interesting modified classics on SN recently that stand out from the usual crowd of halfords/ripspeed ram raiders and yours is one of them :)
22b bumper suits it well and the engine bay looks good.

need to change your username to greescoobymann !!!!!

Love the colour bud top job!

172sport 12 December 2011 10:38 PM

Dont get the RA short box, it will ruin the car.

Yes it may feel faster because you change gear more often but its slower.....

Trust me been there done that! Also tried the longer 5th, thats rubbish too as it spoils the flow with a massive drop from 4th to 5th.

Remember the "short" box was homologated for restricted cars ie grp N. I very much doubt yours will be.

What would you recommend then? Keeping a tight budget in mind!!
