done

leecalcars 06 December 2011 07:27 PM

In a deprived area like cambridge !

chief-long-shin 06 December 2011 07:30 PM

Well thats just a silly idea really isnt it.

Firstly i wouldnt want to wish the a14 on anyone let alone drive along it from where i live.

Secondly i'm hoping out of all the UK you havent just read and assumed cambs means cambridge on my name. ass out of you and me and all that.

I'd much rather go somewhere else to drive :)

Great idea, signed it but doubt the nanny state and nimby's will go for it.

On a side note, suggestions for location :wonder:

Probably scotland, stand a better chance with the scottish government, in which case southerns would be as well going to the ring..

Signed up, spin doctor and all ! :thumb:

The ideal location would of course be in Wales, we have the best drivers roads in the UK. :D

I'd love a UK equivalent of the Nuburgring, but with our H & S laws I can't see it happening but I'll sign up to the petition with limited hope of success. :)

Don't we have enough race tracks then?

leecalcars 06 December 2011 07:53 PM

Il gladley sign ,but lets be honest can you really see the government spending money they dont have on a race track that will supposedly bring in a great deal of revenue through tourism ,i cant ever see this going ahead but you never know !!

Think the best place would be the lincolnshire wolds .

Singed up. Let,s see iff it ever happens. Iff it can be a money spinner the government will push it through.

Isn't the Nurburgring in financial problems?

jameswrx 07 December 2011 05:03 PM

There's about as much chance of that as petrol going down to 50p a litre!

day trip to Isle of Man - TT circuit, no speed limits outside the town, knock yerself out!

go on Mad Sunday and you'll have no oncoming traffic either!

Yes but i,m in no position to say why that is, maybe this can explain, it,s an interesting read
http://der-nordschleife.blogspot.com...ster-save.html.
It explains the financial problems and it,s not down to track it self not being a money spinner.
I personally love the place..:luvlove:
