I've got a friend who's still @ uni and they need a CHEEP host that offers PHP and MySQL for a project.

Anyone know any?

well uklinux.net do it for free if u use their dial-up or they do it for i think 75 quid a month for a co.uk domain etc etc. There is a cheaper option as well i think.

you can get free webspace at www.easyspace.com (but with banner).

have a look at www.bargainhost.co.uk and www.host-plus.co.uk.
