Anyone recommend a 'driving day' gift??

Hi guys,
I'm looking at getting a friend a present for xmas of one of those rally experience days, or maybe a skidpan training type day using your own car..
I want a rally type thing, as we did a supercar type experience a little while ago.
Anyone recommend anything good? Seen a few that look ok, but thought if anyone had been on one and was able to recommend something that would be good :)
Let me know if you have any recommendations of where to go or where to avoid!
Thanks,
James

My mates missus was going to get an expensive "experience" day til I pointed out that he could do a beginners trackday, in his own car, with an hours instructor training for less than £250. Places like Club MSV, Javelin etc all do it and Chris said it was the best day he's had.

The instructor helped with driving style, suspension set-up etc etc over 3x 20 minute sessions. By the end of the day Chris was 12 seconds a lap faster round castle coombe and ready for the Nurburgring.

Just checked out the club MSV site. Some very good prices on there, very tempting.

If you're local to a club msv track then an evening taster session for £25 is great fun. You wont kill the car and can take passengers for a tenner.

Depending on where you/ your friend live, I did the skid pan course at Castle Coombe a few years back. Was a great day, the instructors were excellent and you used cars on a slippery surface rather than a car sat on a jig. They had an E30 and a rover 214 so that you could experience fwd and rwd losing control.
