Crikey I didn't know they were going for that sort of money!

This is a white D reg car that belongs to a mate who runs his own bodyshop. He has owned the car for 12 years and is the third owner. It is low mileage with full history.

Earlier this year he stripped the car and did a bare shell rebuild, there is NO rot whatsoever in this vehicle and it is immaculate... absolutely mint. The engine has been rebuilt and the car is as close to showroom as you will find.

I will let him know he is possibly looking between £6K and £10K.

I love it when so many of them are advertised as never raked nor rallied.
These cars have nothing else going for them other than donuts.

Always had a soft spot for these.

There are loads o them here in Northern Ireland, from scrappers to minters....but minters are getting very rare nowadays tho..

Ive seen rotten heaps go for £6k+....real minters usually go for silly money. I knew a fella that had a genuine burgundy 87 model, totally original too, every service record and the original bill of sale showing £9250, he sold it for £10,500 :eek:

totally different car: but my mother lives in Bradford, always has had toyota corolla's.

her current one is an S plate: immaculate, serviced by toyota etc etc

she'll be in her late 70's now. she consistently gets Asian men making her an offer for her car at petrol stations etc !!!!!

she thinks its really nice, as I do actually !

so I agree with what yr saying chaps, you'd never find a stock car of that type now.

I have had 2 AE86's and both have gone to Ireland...

Bothe were 1985 B reg cars...

One was white with 42k on and was a minter.
Other was metallic blue, lowered with revolutions and 4 Cibies on the front!..

I loved them both dearly...If i had any complaint is that they are just lacking in power a little... Another 30-40bhp and they would have been pretty perfect..
