Whats a 5th Injector
 

As the title says,
I have read a few things lately that refer to a 5th injector, what is it?

It's a 5th fuel injector :lol1:

Sometimes added to increase fuel quantity injected.

My old Sierra Sapphire after visiting Turbo Technics had a 5th injector fitted into the inlet manifold before the throttle body.

Ah the good old 5th injector, commonplace in the days of the old RS tuning!

RA's got one from the factory I believe.

So there is nothing that anyone can do to use this 5th injector??
I know technically there isn`t any point, but having something on a car that does nowt is daft imho.

It was fitted to the RA for homologation purposes in world rally.

Yeah I know, but surely there is a way to get it to work and do something??

You could use it for water injection or as a Nitrous Fogger Nozzle :thumb:
