2002 Newage JDM STI Complete Engine with only 58k

2002 Newage STI JDM Complete Engine with only 58k, backed up by previous MOT's and service history. runs faultless.

The JDM engine is much stronger than the UK engines and benifit from a 8'000+ rpm rev limit, capable of much more power with the stronger internals and big port valves for larger power applications.

The engine is currently in the car and can been, heard and felt running, however it will be removed soon.

This is a complete engine with Big port AVCS heads, and a recent Timing belt and fluid change. Again this is backed up with the service documentation. I can supply with the Inlet manifold, throttle body and fuel rails for straight swap.

Ideal replacement for a blown motor, no need to purchase expensive gasket kit & tming belts (circ £450). Simply just install this complete engine.

Im open to sensible offers around £1600 for the long engine, however as im breaking the complete car I can add the required parts to meet your needs.

Thanks,
Rob

Yes.

I believe the V7 JDM's are the same as the RA, S202, and Spec C.

Its rare to hear of a car going wrong upon mapping, and mappers generally leave you some safe margin if done correctly (det cams etc) so you ought to be fine. However if you tell the mapper to push your motor to the limit then dont be surprised if it does go bang at a later date. I suspect this engine will be snapped up before xmas to be honest as its cheap enough and im prepared to listen to offers ;) Regards, Rob

Hiya mate,

Both the "newage" MY01> (Bugeye) STI uk and jdm motors both have AVCS heads, but the jdm has Big ported heads for better power delivery and can handle much more power better, and also has a stronger engine (semi forged) with a strengthend crank. Should be good for over 400bhp at ease, probably more like 450bhp :D

My step brother used my Blue 2002 Bug Sti and the engine has lost compression on one cylinder but is not using oil so im just thinking on replacing the lump. I will keep an eye on the thread. shud have money together soon. Good value for money. ;)

Your welcome to leave a deposit mate and I will hold it for you. It will be out early next week. Also if you prefer we can come to some arrangement to make it cheaper for you in the long run, such as leave the Inlet, throttle and fuel rails etc etc all in place.

From experience a pallet delivery would be around £50 which is insured up to £3'000.

BUMB ;)

Regards,
Rob
