air filter avice on bug

Hey guys ive got a jdm bug sti running at 340bhp is it worth putting a air filter/induction kit on it like a K&N its got a green panel filter on at the moment i know that i would need a remap after cheers :thumb:

Your filter is fine for your current power. If you want much more you will need an induction kit. Putting one on now wouldn't hurt but the 2-300 quid for the induction kit and a few hundred quid for the remap probably isn't worth the 10bhp you would get.

panel filters perfect for the job mate :thumb:

Stick with Panel at that level, Green are fine or go K & N or Cosworth.

I agree with the others, the green panel filter is good for that sort of power, it's what I have and I have been told it does a good job.

I think if you are going 400+bhp then you may need to have a rethink.

although to me i think an engine bay is not complete til its rocking a huuuuge air filter

An induction kit is a nice addition, I love the difference in sound especially on Scoob but I would advise at the very least getting the map checked.
