is it true a fmic on a 95 jdm wrx will reduce spool by 500-1000 rpm,, just read this and ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, well here you go

tis the usual rubish mate, search on here theres loads of threads.

there should be no noticable difference when fitting a front mount if the car is setup correctly.

The basics of what the article is describing is correct. i.e. if you were to replace a tmic with a fmic and do nothing else, it is true that you would see full pressure in the system achieved at higher rpm, but that is not due to "reduced spool". The Turbo spools at the same rate! It's simply a matter of having more area to fill between the turbo exit and the engine. Hence it takes slightly longer to pressurise to the given psi than it did.
The correct term should really be "full boost pressure is achieved 500-1000 rpm later".
